About BMS All-City Jazz Ensemble

Welcome to the BMS All City Jazz Ensemble! This ensemble consists of students from grades 5-9 who want to learn about America's greatest musical tradition. The Jazz band meets regularly every week during the school year.
As with any extra ensemble there are increased practice expectations. The All-City Jazz Ensemble is one of the premier jazz ensembles in the city of Beverly. We strive to perform a wide variety of music including Swing, Big Band, Blues, Latin, and Afro-Cuban music. The students will learn the required pieces and also be asked to learn jazz solos and improvisation. |
